In the past I have seen people buy the cheap sets from wal-mart and usually after 3 uses they are piles of junk. I bought 2 of these sets. I gave the first as a house warming gift for a friend, and then bought my own). I wish that the box all the items actually come in had better padding because the first set, one of the salt and pepper shakers were broken. But upon opening the second set they were both fine. I was not over joyed with the knives as of I'm a big Chicago cuttlery fan and bought myself 2 good kinves from them. But besides that this set is great... Very sturdy, and I enjoy it alot.
